Stefan Hug brings Southern train to a standstill near South Bermondsey to recover dog who was uninjured
A trainee train driver in the middle of a lesson stopped to rescue a puppy on the tracks of a busy London railway.
Stefan Hug, who only started learning to drive a train in January, halted a Southern service from Beckenham Junction to London Bridge on Wednesday morning after seeing the puppy running alongside the train.
